Important Note: For successful installation, you MUST have a stable WiFi connection when activating an eSIM.
(1) Check your device supports eSIM
To learn if your iOS device is eSIM-compatible, you will need to (a) check your device is carrier-unlocked and (b) check your device supports eSIM technology. For detailed instructions to check if your device is eSIM-compatible, read this article here. |

(2) Go to My Page, find your data plan, and click Activate |

(3) Scan the QR code with your iOS device
Using the Apple Camera on your device, scan the QR code. |
(4) Tap Continue
Tap the “Continue” button on the “Install Cellular Plan” screen. |

(5) Give your new cellular plan a label
Select your new cellular plan and give it a label, for example “Traveling” if you plan to use this plan when you’re traveling. |
(6) Set the Default Line as Primary
Set your “Primary” plan as the “Default Line” to continue using your number for calling and sending messages to people who are not in your contacts, and tap on “Continue”. |

(7) Select which cellular plan to use for iMessage, Facetime, and Apple ID
Keep this as “Primary” while you are in your home country. |
(8) For cellular data choose Primary for now then switch to Secondary while traveling.
You may also select “Allow Cellular Data Switching” to allow your device to switch between networks depending on coverage. |

(9) Choose to update contacts’ preferred line later
This is so that calling contacts will always use the primary cellular network. Click Done. |
(10) On clicking done, you will be taken to the main Cellular settings screen where you can access the Cellular Data screen.
Here you can toggle between your Primary and Secondary data plans at any time. |

Important Notes:
1. Make sure Data Roaming is enabled for GIANT Cellular network.
